Tax credit renewal deadline looms
31st July is the deadline to renew your tax credits
If you are claiming tax credits at the moment, you must renew your claim by the end of the month, or risk losing your payments.
HMRC has issued a deadline of 31st July, and you must contact HMRC to renew your claim, and to let HMRC know if any of your circumstances have changed. It is vital that HMRC are kept aware of your current situation, as the amount of tax credits you receive is dependent on your circumstances, and if HMRC pay you more tax credits than your current situation should have allowed they can attempt to get the extra money back.
