Better Thinking About Money
Credit Action have produced a six module course aimed at offenders and other low income groups, to equip educational and voluntary groups, who may not have experience or training in financial education, to run money education courses themselves. The materials are highly visual and intended to be accessible for learners with limited literacy and numeracy skills.
The modules cover:

Module 2 - Managing Money
Module 3 - Creating a Budget
Module 4 - Making the most of your money
Module 5 - Saving and Credit
Module 6 - Debt
The training pack consists of a DVD, tutor handbook and student worksheets for photocopying. We have a limited number of copies available free of charge to organisations working within prisons and with other excluded groups.
